Dru joined the United States Marine Corps in June 2011, immediately after finishing high school. He spent his service as an MP at the U.S. Naval Consolidated Brig in Charleston, SC. He separated from the Marines in June 2016.

Dru liked to spend his time fishing, making jigs, playing pc games, and driving his jeep. His favorite thing to do was to spend time with his family and play with his kids. His family was everything to him and he was so proud to be a father.

One of the best things about him was his sense of humor. He loved to laugh and was really good at making everyone around him laugh too. He was also smart, kind, and genuine. He’s the type of person you remember. Anyone who called him a friend or family knew their life was better because he was in it.

He is truly missed.
