Matthew was a dearly Loved husband, father, son and brother. Matt served from 2008 to 2013 when he was medically retired out of the Army. During his time in the service he was an 88L and was very proud of his boat. Every holiday he love to put together a big meal and invite soldiers from the barracks to our place who were unable to be home with their families. He struggled with PTSD but was scared to get help in fear he’d lose his benefits. There was so much pain he lived with day to day that it eventually consumed him. He was loved by so many friends and family. He enjoyed gaming, computers and a good flee market. Matthew lost his battle February 3rd 2015 leaving behind a huge void especially in his sons who miss him greatly.
