We are the ones that have lost our battle.
We are the ones that were taken too soon.
We are the ones that for whatever reason was not able to get help before it was too late.
We are the face of Veteran Suicide.
So many Veterans go unnoticed by design, reflecting upon our training to keep ourselves always on the ready, having too much pride to ask for help, thinking we made it through war so how hard could it be…
With this Remembrance Wall, we want to honor those that lost their battle. This wall is meant to put the face to the number and what it represents. This wall is our reminder that the battle is never over for us.
“You’ve been told that you’re broken, that you’re damaged goods and should be labeled victims. I don’t buy it. The truth, instead, is that you are the only folks with the skills, determination, and values to ensure American dominance in this chaotic world.”
