Today on National Medal of Honor Day, we remember an honor the 3,536 distinguished men and women who have been bestowed the highest military decoration in our nation.
March 25th is recognized as the day of honor after the first award was designated on March 25th, 1863.
We honor all of the individuals who have been recognized with this designation and thank them for their service and sacrifices to their nation.
